ARLINGTON, VA – Hive Group President Will Fortier, CEO Kathleen Sober, and Director of Marketing and Communications Alicia Mundt participated in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Centennial Commemoration on Wednesday, November 10th. It was the first time in nearly 100 years that members of the public were able to pay their respects at the Tomb, a privilege otherwise given only to the sentinels of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment, the Tomb’s designated military guard.
“The Tomb has served as the heart of Arlington National Cemetery,” said Karen Durham-Aguilera, executive director of Army National Military Cemeteries and Arlington National Cemetery. “It is a people’s memorial that inspires reflection on service, valor, sacrifice and mourning. As a sacred memorial site and the grave of three unknown American service members, the Tomb connects visitors with the legacy of the U.S. armed forces throughout the nation’s history.”
As a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Hive Group LLC is proud to have been represented by Fortier, a U.S. Army Veteran.
