Hive Group is honored to announce that CEO Kathleen Sober has joined the Board of Directors for the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) and will serve a 3-year term beginning on September 1, 2022. SECAF is a 300+ member nonprofit organization focused on the small businesses operating in the federal marketplace. Most member firms are owner-operated and/or transitioning to mid-tier status.
Kathleen has found the SECAF organization to be uniquely focused on issues impacting small businesses, having provided invaluable educational opportunities, networking, and opening doors to key federal leaders. In the 20-plus years since SECAF was founded, it has provided support for the contracting community, created agency-focused programming, and so much more. As Kathleen steps into her new role as a SECAF board member, her dynamic past as a CEO, leader, and mentor will help her navigate this new and exciting chapter. The Hive Group is excited and proud of Kathleen as she takes these next steps in her career.
“As a business owner who has started and grown several businesses, I have found the SECAF organization to be uniquely focused on issues impacting small businesses and it has provided invaluable educational opportunities, networking, and access to key federal leaders,” Kathleen says. “I’m honored to be part of this community.”
